V2 GST Putting Studio: Exact Fit for Carl’s Place DIY Enclosures

 

Now you can have a putting green custom-designed to fit perfectly inside your Carl’s Place Simulator bay. The new SIM Fit putting greens are tailored to the dimensions of your hitting bay, making them an excellent addition to your simulator or a standalone practice surface. The foundation incorporates our patented GST (Gradual Slope Technology), the same technology used in our standard V2 putting greens. GST features a subtle rise in the back 5 feet of the green where the cups are located, allowing regulation holes to be cut without the golfer noticing a slight uphill putt. This design does not slow your ball but creates realistic, natural-breaking putts from side approaches. Big Moss’ slope technology removes the need to raise your simulator flooring to match your hitting mat, saving time and cost. SIM greens come with a standard down-grain roll and also allow sidehill and cross-grain breaks (see diagram in photos). Flag stick bases can be placed anywhere, offering putts from more angles than ever. This is by far the widest and most versatile footprint we have created.

The SIM green is multi-functional, providing an ideal platform for realistic putting, chipping, and pitching inside your bay. It also helps reduce the noise of golf balls hitting your bay and acts as a landing area to roll balls back toward the hitting zone, making retrieval faster and easier.

Using a Big Moss SIM green eliminates the need to build up your hitting bay floor to match your mat height. The V2 SIM green measures 1/4" at the putting end and 1.25" near the screen, accommodating any hitting mat. Every SIM green purchased from Big Moss includes an 18" x 36" putting and retrieval ramp with shims to precisely match your mat height. This is a much more affordable and efficient solution than constructing EVA foam platforms or wooden decks. The ramp smoothly transitions the height difference between the putting surface and hitting mat, creating a seamless putting experience toward the impact screen while allowing balls to roll back for easy retrieval. Most balls return automatically to the end of the ramp, so you can reach them from your hitting position without leaving the mat.

The Sizes in this product are built specifically for Carl's DIY Bays.  The dimensions are listed, so please double check your bay size. The sizes listed are the height and width of a Carls Bay, NOT the size of the green. Green DIMS appear above the price. You do not need a Carl's Bay for these greens, they work great as a stand alone unit. If any of the dimensions listed work for you, you can always order the size you need.  All SIM Green sales are considered custom and cannot be returned if a sizing mistake has been made.  So please be sure and call us if needed.
